Quaint little old home with dark wood features and outside seating. Had the chorizo broiled oysters and smash burger - delish!
We love the Fox and Crow! It's a fantastic spot for breakfast and for dinner. Their breakfast sandwiches are divine, and for dinner, they've got the best chicken sandwich in the business! But we greatly love the atmosphere, the music, and the warmth of the staff. We look forward to eating there every time we're on Cape Cod!
We stayed at the Wagner (next door), and went to the Fox and Crow a couple of times during our stay. Fun, relaxed atmosphere with good local beers; and VERY good food at fair prices. They had a traditional Irish band playing the first night we went which was a hoot!
We were given grief for trying to order from the kids menu. They don’t understand that some time older people have smaller appetites. Manager was rude and another adjective I will not say. We ended up ordering a salad and tossing half. Margarita was sad….I think they forgot the Tito’s. Burger was great but not sure I’d recommend because of the attitudes.
We chose this restaurant because their website indicated that they were allergy friendly. Not true. When I asked for suggestions from the waitress on what I could eat she went to ask the chef then came back and said there were not too many choices for me. No suggestions. My husband noticed the tart apple salad on the menu and when questioning the waitress it was fine for me except for the dressing. I asked the waitress to give me oil and vinegar instead and she did not seem to understand what vinegar was, she kept saying that she could give me oil. Now that I settled on a meal. I asked for lemon in my water which I never received. When our food was delivered my husband did not receive his coleslaw and we had to hail the waitress to get it, she seemed annoyed and said it didn't come with coleslaw (not true) but she would get some. I started eating my salad and realized there were no apples in it. Our waitress was nowhere to be found. We asked another waitress to get her and told her about the missing apples. After asking the kitchen our waitress told us they ran out of apples so they did not put any in the salad or bother to tell anyone it was a problem. IN addition according to the hours listed on their website they had only been open for and hour and they regularly change their menu. She said they would take the salad off of our bill. As my husband was eating his sandwich, he realized the "special house pickles" were missing from his sandwich. Our waitress cleared our plates and ignored my husband when he told her about the pickles. Our food was also average at best. This was a horrible eating experience and our waitress was one of the worst we have ever encountered. So disappointed in what we hoped was going to be a nice dinner after a long day of traveling.
An elegant little place. We had a most delicious breakfast. I got the Mezza which included a Jerusalem bagel veggies and several dreamy spreads. The coffee is Insanely good. The staff was very friendly and professional
This is a jewel of a place. The food is delicious, the atmosphere warm and it is a centerpiece of Wellfleet community. During the height of the pandemic the restaurant prepared food for those who needed. A really special place.
