点评：It was one of the most defining experiences of my life. Before getting here, there was a lot of hesitation, as it's not a destination for the inexperienced traveller. In Mongolia, you're here to take life by its reins and weather out its storms, as you are. You're challenged to remember that beyond your sense of self and the responsibilities you hold, you are human at the end of the day. You need water to survive the desert, eat nutritious meals that give you enough energy to explore the ruins of the earth, and love life enough to remember that being amongst people is an experience to be enjoyed as a part of a community.
During my trip, I could not have asked for a more welcoming, kind, supportive, helpful, and open group such as our guide Riya and driver Bathishig. Travelling solo in Mongolia is daunting enough, but rather than feel like I was alone on a journey of self-exploration, I belonged in a tribe that explored together.
Coming back to this blessed place is not even a question of if, but a matter of when. And when I come back, I can rest assured knowing that I have made relationships with such an awesome group of people who have changed the trajectory of my life, just by having them in it.
