Skana, the Spa at Turning Stone的点评
点评：This is one of my favorite spas to visit. I always arrive ahead of schedule as they allow you to use the amenities 50 minutes prior. When comparing Ashi to skana, it is larger and has more spa to allow for relaxation with the infused water, multiple seating areas, and fireplaces. I come to skana as often as I can to decompress and relax. I often bring a friend who has never been. This time we came to celebrate my friends birthday. I arrived early and was surprised to have to wait over 20 minutes to be brought down to the spa. When we got down there my friend who was new was not able to have a tour because we were running late which didn’t allow that extra time before the service to decompress. We were rushed into our service and when I got on the table for my facial was told that my 50 minute service was going to need to be reduced due to being late. I explained that I was not late and that I had been waiting upstairs for over 20 minutes. I felt my custom facial was rushed( no steam, no extractions, just a clean of the face which I could do at home as I owned the products and a quick arm and hand massage. The tech said she would speak to management about what happened and when I got upstairs they knew about it. They were kind and did discount my service but I didn’t get the chance to relax and unwind which I look forward to once a month. I’m very disappointed in my experience and hope this doesn’t happen to others.
