点评：Extraordinarily difficult to get on to the beach. We stayed in the community, across the road from the beach. Public access to the beach was so limited and restricted, some of our family never made it there. The best advice we received was from a local shopkeeper, who recommended that we go either before or after the Tour Guides arrive, in other words before 8am or after 5pm. Once they are there, they mislead you and tell you it is required to have a guide to go on the beach, and chase after you if you don't hire one. And this is even after paying their parking fee, and their fee to access the beach. Unfortunately, these aggressive tour guides ruined it for us. We were also told by other locals that Akumal Bay is better for snorkeling anyway. Yes, we understand that everyone needs to earn a living, but this wasn't the relaxing beach vacation we had hoped for.
