点评：The local taxi mafia would lead you to believe that there is no local transport between Phuket Bus Terminal 1 and 2 but this is not so. Whether you are getting off long distance buses at Phuket Bus Terminal 2 and have been screamed at by the blokes at the two taxi desks that there are only 200 Baht taxis or persuaded by the moto drivers that it's a minimum 100 Baht on the back of a bike to go the approximately THREE kilometres into town, just patiently wait at the bus bay marked "Phuket Town" and a shiny blue, usually completely empty, little bus will eventually trundle up and take you exactly, or nearly anyway, where you want to go for substantially less. It runs until after 8pm.
All the while you are waiting you will be told all sorts of garbage by the taxi cartel... but resist and you will arrive efficiently and may I say, in more style and air-conditioning than the vultures will rip you off for.
This has been the state of affairs for many years and I don't understand why the government allows it.
They run a bus and do nothing to explain it's existence.
There's no timetable anywhere or if you were a conspiracy theorist, as so many are these days, you might think that the taxi operators have removed any evidence of it.
