Had heard about Lavasa a lot. As it was a Holi weekend, planned a trip to Lavasa with friends. It took us almost 4.5 hrs from Mumbai to reach Lavasa. The entry fee was Rs 500/- for 4 wheeler n Rs 200/- for 2 wheeler.
We had booked a 3BHK Lake view Apartment with a huge terrace and a Jacuzzi in there . The apartment was very well maintained with a pool table. Lovely view of the mountains. As it had a kitchen so we had carried our own food stuff.
About Lavasa, I would say except Lake n water activities nothing is there. The town is not well maintained. The buildings around are also not re-painted. Most of shops were not operable. Hardly 2 or 3 food joints were open. Could see very few people with their families. No parks and no entertainment for children. We could see the half constructed buildings from our apartment across the Lake. It seemed to be like Ghost town.
Would not recommend to visit this place. It's waste of time and money.
