Well our experience was very poor for an observation deck as we didn’t get to go up the tower - it was full apparently

点评：Well our experience was very poor for an observation deck as we didn’t get to go up the tower. Apparently it was full which surprised us as it was a Tuesday evening in April.
I got to the Torre Sevilla about 8.00pm, the reception area was very quiet, then thought we could go to adjacent shopping centre to kill some time before sunset (about 9.00pm). A member of staff did not indicate any problem with this plan other than to say that we must go up the tower before 9.00pm (last lift up).
We came back at 8.30pm to be told that there may be no capacity to accommodate us and 4 other Spanish people were waiting too. Alas, the Spanish tourists got to go up but we were not so lucky as we were just told we could not go up the tower tonight.
This was very disappointing as if there had been any indication that there was a capacity issue or even could be a capacity issue - we would have gone up the tower rather than ‘killing time’ in the shops waiting for sunset. Apart from the 4 Spanish tourists - there was no activity at the reception area which gave the impression that it was not busy.
Our family left, regretting making our way out to Torre Sevilla on spec and wondering just how busy it could be up there?
On the other hand, maybe it was at the legal limit - either way, my advice would be to check availability before making your way to the Torre Sevilla, especially as it is not located close to many other tourist sites.
