Best fishing charter ever!
Karumba Fishing Adventures的点评
点评：Not the first time offshore but first time at Karumba and we certainly picked the right charter. Skipper Gerry is a no-nonsense but amiable professional and made sure my wife & I as well as a couple of country blokes were well provided for.
The boat & all its kit was first class, as was the gear he supplied so there were no disappointments with lost hookups etc and everything went perfectly, including the weather which was a bonus ok.
We fished about 30km out, went straight to a spot where we were told, is too far for the holiday amateurs and not as far out as the professionals, in about 7-8 m with flat sandy bottom with mixed fish using Shakespeare/Shimano Baitrunners and braid rigs. That was needed when a prize Cobia jumped on to a sinking bait!
Meanwhile Gerry set a heavier rig with floating yellowtail (?) and we took turns to bring in 3 trophy size spanish mackeral.
The two guys did a lot of walking around the deck to land theirs but Gerry skillfully used the bow electric to help my wife land hers without too much drama, and was much appreciated! She watches the video at least once a week now :)
I've been on a lot of boats & done a heap of fishing, but nothing comes near the professionalism we experienced on that day, and this guy Gerry is the best skipper I have ever come across, easily. Thanks mate.
