Trace is the best driver & guide ever!!!

点评：If you are looking to hire a driver and make a friend, look no further! We hired Domini "Trace" Steel to drive our group of 11 friends around for the week and it was the best decision ever! First off, Trace quickly ushered us all to his extremely clean, air conditioned van and whisked us off to our villa. From there, we made some plans for excursions, but he was also on "standby" for other things we needed (like picking up guests from a nearby resort for a 50th birthday suprise).
Trace went above & beyond for all of us--but specifically for our friend whose birthday we were celebrating. He got balloons, a tshirt & some other items to make her birthday extra special. She was so happy with all of his thoughtfulness, but especially because he captured a video for us of her reaction to seeing her surprise guests!
When he wasn't busy running us around, Trace was always making sure his vehicle was clean--it was always ice cold & spotless when we were ready to go somewhere. If our excursions required towels, he ensured we had a bag of towels & a cooler of refreshments. He took great pride in his work, which is a nice trait to see regardless of what country you are in!
Speaking of excursions--he is happy to make recommendations & avoid the super touristy or busy places. Trace took us to the Blue Hole, but made sure we went to the "Right one"--as there are many locations to enter this beautiful area. We felt like he always had our backs, even when going on a pre-booked excusion, he worked with the staff to get us on our boat tour quickly & efficiently.
Trace was always happy to chat if you wanted to...gave some insight in to Jamaica, a little history, geography and general information. After a week, he was like a good friend. His taste in music is excellent, too!
Whether you need a driver for a day, or for a week or more, Trace is a trustworthy, reliable, safe & knowledgeable... We will 100% keep his number for our next trip to Jamaica.
