点评：TAMWORTH BOTANIC GARDENS: This has to be the most disappointing experience I have ever had in a public garden. Tamworth - you can do better than this. The Indigenous Trail ended a short way into the walk. We were unable to distinguish between the track and the bush. I find it disrespectful to have put so little effort into this part of the garden. Suggestions: Allow dogs on a leash/maintain the grounds/keep water up to the areas that should be filled with water/stay open during advertised open hours. There is no excuse that it is too costly to maintain - such gardens attract a lot of volunteers if the group is run properly and provides a local experience. We have a lot of acres ourselves and are in our 70's. We manage our grounds better than this public garden. Closing time on the website is 5 pm. At 4.20 pm the gates were shut. Fortunately we found one that was only shut with a brick on the inside so we were able to leave and drive into the city centre. We rang the main number but there was no reply. What a shambles! This should be a tourist attraction not a municipal embarrassment.
