点评：Having climbed just under 50 wainwrights you always weigh up which ones are the best and try to decide on a favourite. I must admit, I struggle to decide on my favourite but I thought Walla Crag was worth a review as it always seems to come in second best to Catbells. The views over Keswick are very similar except you are on the eastern side of Derwent Water as opposed to the western side.
In many ways, this one is easier to climb too as there are less scrambles and the distance from Keswick town centre is shorter too. I don't know why this peak doesn't get as much love as Catbells. I suppose I shouldn't complain too much as it also means that Walla Crag gets less of a crowd.
I thought this one was worth mentioning because it does seem to live in the shadow of its more popular sister across the water and I think it deserves some credit.
When we climbed it, the weather was pretty grim, as you can see in the photo but we still had a lovely time.
