Terrible. Expedia does not seem to know what it is doing and the customer can suffer for that.

点评：I can only describe Expedia Travel Reservations Service as terrible. I booked my reservation with the Almond Tree Inn in Key West Florida on Monday night March 10th, 2025 for Tuesday through Friday, March 25th through March 28th, 2025. I also checked the box on the on-line form to purchase travel insurance for this trip. However, on Friday, March 14th, first received an email from Expedia telling me that everything is set for our stay at the Almond Tree Inn followed a minute later stating they were sorry to hear that our stay had been cancelled. I first called the Hotel and they told me that Expedia cited something about the deposit amount being declined by my credit card so my reservation has been cancelled. I told that Hotel that this could not be true. The Hotel stated they would reinstate my reservation, charge my required deposit to my credit card and keep my reservation through Expedia. They then suggested I call Expedia and go over all of this with them. I then called Expedia who told first told me I had cancelled my reservation on-line. I disputed that as I did no such thing. Expedia then told me that the Hotel probably cancelled the reservation so they could book me directly. But this just does not make sense as the Hotel told me that while they would reinstate the reservation for the same dollar amount that it was originally for that I should call Expedia and go over all of this with them. Further, I was given two different reasons for the cancellation by Expedia. They seem to have no idea what they are doing and the public should be very careful making any kind of trip reservations through the.
