Best tour company to visit Machu Pichu

点评：DON’T try to visit Machu Pichu on your own. DO book your private tour with Perú Summit Adventures. It was difficult to choose a tour company from the internet but look no further! Tell them what you want to do, when you want to do it, send the $ by PayPal (330$ for two people for Circuit 2). They buy the tickets to Machu Pichu, as well as the bus tickets to get up the hill. Our guide Ernesto met us at our hotel, walked us to the bus station—-what we didn’t know was how completely chaotic getting to Machu Pichu is—it’s like Disneyland with hundreds of people in line to catch the bus up at their appointed times. Thank goodness we didn’t have to navigate the chaos on our own. Our guide was knowledgeable about Inka, architecture, history, geology, fauna, flora (he guided on the Inka trail for 10 years). He knew the best places to take photos— we didn’t realize we’d also have our own photographer! Seeing Machu Pichu without a knowledgeable guide would be like watching a movie without sound. Our original guide was unable to make it due to a landslide that night, and the company had a new one appointed by 5:30 am—great customer service. What a relief to have chosen Perú Summit Adventures. You’re in good hands.
