As we were time poor, Best of Sri Lanka ensured we packed in as much as was possible in such a diverse country .

点评：Excellent trip very much helped by our excellent ( and flexible) driver/guide Adrian and help with arrangements from Ruwina . Nothing was too much trouble, communication from Ruwina was excellent from enquiry to return home and from Adrian from the moment we had his WhatsApp details . We really liked that all the specialist guides arranged for us were excellent and like Adrian always arrived on time or early and made every effort to ensure we got what we wanted from each experience. We had a couple of minor blips when our itinerary timings didn't work for us, this was quickly sorted out with Ruwina ensuring we had an even better experience, 🙏 Ruwina. Adrian was with us throughout the trip dropping us in Mirissa at the end of the tour . He always ensured everything we needed was in place and that we were driven safely,🙏
3 things we learnt were :- not all accommodations served alcohol but they were happy to get some if requested . If you want some where with a drinks menu you need to request accommodation with an alcohol license, secondly make sure you are clear about all the travel times between locations and timing of activities, there is so much to see it can be exhausting. Full day safaris, ie 6 am to 6 pm were too much for us , happily as on a private tour we could finish when we wanted NB. it's possible to book morning and evening safaris. And lastly we knew Sri Lanka was an excellent location for birds but we were blown away . Ruwina suggested we stayed near the quieter part of Yala ( we don't like crowds) and placed us in some lovely homely accommodation, ( Tranquil Wild ), moments from block 6 . We had an amazing day .
