Cable Car Across Gaya的点评
点评：During our visit to Riga, we explored the cable car, which is located a short distance from the town center. While it is walkable for those who are active and able, it is worth noting that bikes are available for rent in the town; however, there was only one available during our visit, and it was frequently occupied. Upon arrival, we found a ticket office where a return ticket was priced at €19, which I found somewhat excessive given the experience.
The cable car itself was relatively small, with no seating inside, and a staff member accompanies passengers, although they do not engage in conversation. The ride offers elevated views, crossing over a road and forest. I would argue that the experience is likely more picturesque during the winter months when the landscape is covered in snow.
On the opposite side of the cable car lies a rural area, which includes the Gutman’s Cave. However, I found the cave to be underwhelming and felt that the walk to it was not particularly rewarding. The cable car operates every 30 minutes and, during our visit, was notably quiet.
