点评：Pop Inn jewellers has an excellent location on Candolim’s beach road, close to many restaurants and shops. We’ve stayed in Candolim 5 times in nearly 7 years and have bought some lovely jewellery there each time.
Unlike most UK high street jewellers, Ami, Saif and the Pop Inn team are so much more than retailers. While they have lots of lovely ready made items for sale, they can make bespoke items to customer’s own designs. They have extensive stocks of precious and semi-precious gemstones, pearls, clasps, necklaces, bangles and so much more. They also have many years of knowledge, experience and expertise.
This year, we tried something new. As well as Ami making a gorgeous diamond pendant to our designs, he did some remarkable repairs to some treasured items, in many cases making them better than ever.
The final project was to recycle some old bracelets and bangles to make something brand new. He melted various gold items, purifying the metal and then made a really lovely bangle, a pair of ear rings and re-set diamonds from a recycled ring, some into the bangle, others in a modified ring. The results are simply outstanding. In the UK, ‘scrap’ gold prices are a rip-off. At Pop Inn, they used our old metals to make wonderful new pieces.
We value their honesty, expertise, friendliness, trustworthiness and outstanding service, coupled with value for money. We would recommend them without hesitation and will return here on our next trip.
