点评：We went to see Whistle Down the Wind last night and we had such a lovely experience. The theatre is such a beautiful, old theatre and it was so well maintained for a small place. There was plenty of choice in the bar area, including cups of tea. When we went in we were really welcomed and the boy who was selling the programs was really friendly too.
The performance was excellent and it was so nice to see the version that was like the film, as we have seen the other version many times. The singers were great. The young boy was really good and he managed his comic lines very well. The male adult singers were brilliant too. The audience behaved themselves well too, so many times I have been to theatres where people are getting up and down all the time, coming in late, being noisy with sweets or talking through the performance but this didn’t happen here so we could really concentrate on the play.
