Westfield Parramatta is a great “Mega Mall”

点评：I came here mainly to buy presents for family and relatives before my trip home and i was not disappointed.
Westfield is a large sprawling mega mall/shopping centre that straddles Church Street in Parramatta with nearly all of the shopping in the right hand building over five floors, with the left hand building containing Event Cinemas, including Gold Class on the top floor and a variety of very popular restaurants like Pappa Rich, Mr Stonebowl, Thai Riffic etc on street level. The lower ground floor between the two buildings also has a underground walkway with many specialty and food shops linking with the food court of the main building. There is literally so much shopping on offer from many specialty shops, Luxury clothing & makeup brands, to a huge range of beauty stores, to Sports stores, Collectibles, Pharmacies and many Shoe & Jewelry stores, to major department stores David Jones and Myer which are themselves situated accross multiple floors with their own internal escalators, to Supermarkets, Banks, Medical Centres, Dentists, Currency Exchanges, even a tattoo removalists!
Basically, you are able to find everything you could possibly need in this building and then sit down for lunch before seeing a movie if you wanted to. I managed to get presents for everyone (8 people) in the space of three hours of wondering. One tip is definitely pop into Chemist Wharehouse in the lower ground food court if you are looking for Fragrances ... I was after a couple of specific male & female fragrances which they had both at reduced prices. Basically I was told there that they have a large range at permanently discounted prices, some of the older brands are heavily discounted, less so on the newer fragrance releases.
Finally, I came by public transport with both train and bus stops literally infront of Westfield. They also have lots of parking available making this a very handy and pleasant place to shop.
