Disappointing, overpriced, make sure to take your own food

点评：We were looking after our grandson for the weekend so after researching different farm experiences available we settled on this one. Easy to find and it appeared quiet on arrival. It got busier whilst walking round but was ok. Most animals in the cages you couldn’t see, although Our grandson enjoyed the bird show. The thing that made this disappointing for us were the cafe facilities. We arrived at 12 and the bird show was at 1.30, we took a packed lunch for our grandson and we were going to eat after the bird show. We headed back to reception around 2pm only to find the cafe shut, we were directed to the play barn, we were not happy as we were looking forward to the cafe with a relaxed peaceful atmosphere. If we had wanted to take our grandson to a soft play we would have.
It was very busy, there was also a birthday party on and the kids were running wild, they have a soft play area for under 5’s which we could not let our 2 year old grandson in as it was full of much older children being quite aggressive and throwing the soft play equipment around. There wasn’t much hot food left, the choice was very poor. We had 2 hot drinks, two cakes and fries which cost almost £20.00. The seating area was dirty, and the high chairs were filthy. We headed back outside as there is an area with ride on tractors etc, only to find they were all being used by adults, we couldn’t even put our grandson on one as the adults were riding fast on the track. Next time I will just go to our local farm instead of driving for an hour to be extremely disappointed.
