点评：I attended my first Cubs' game at Chicago's iconic Wrigley Field in 1959. They were bad but Ernie Banks hit 45 home runs and drove in 143 runs and was the National League's most valuable player. Things have changed. Today, Ernie has a statue outside the park and Gallagher Way on the west side of the park, off Clark and Addison, has become one of the city's most popular attractions, even when the Cubs aren't playing at home. The neighborhood is known as Wrigleyville with dozens of restaurants and sports bars and hotels and theaters and specialty museums and shops selling all manner of Cubs merchandise. Who cares that there isn't any space to park? It's all about the atmosphere. And the Cubs are worth watching. In the 1950s, they drew 800,000 fans. Today, they draw 3 million. Gallagher Way is where friends, family, neighbors and tourists gather to experience the Friendly Confines. It features chef-driven restaurants, the luxurious Hotel Zachary, live music and movies. Among the most popular gathering spots are Murphy's Bleachers, Cubby Bear, Sluggers, Sports Corner and John Barleycorn's. Watch a game from a rooftop bleacher with a great view of Wrigley Field from one of 11 rooftop venues in left field and right field. It's good that some of the old-timers of the 1950s and 1960s like Banks, Billy Williams, Ron Santo and Ferguson Jenkins lived to see and enjoy the transformation.
