点评：Staff were friendly and the centre was clean. But it’s NOT family friendly. We got yelled at when out on a walk and subject to full on aggression in the pool - just not what I expected from somewhere like this. Massive shame to have a swim session ruined by one old bag. I will never bring children back where people are so aggressively entitled - full on yelling, swearing and splashing us in anger over just existing in the same space.
Having to wait until midday for scheduled general swim time only to be made to feel uncomfortable was a complete let down. I get it, it’s a shared pool - you aggressively want to do your lanes- but… it’s a shared pool, we paid our fee to be there and it’s “general” swim time! Not the “adults only” sessions (in which case, I would completely understand the annoyance). It felt like we had to tip toe about and not upset the oldies (don’t get me wrong, there were a couple of perfectly friendly folk). Sure there can be angry people anywhere, but I just think this place cannot please everyone. Are you for families or a couples/retirement village? This place needs to choose because judging by the anger we received “they” don’t want families in “their” space either.
We are back home and I’m writing this feeling like we haven’t had our holiday yet. With swimming being the only activity available we had zero family bonding time together outside of the cabin. For this, I regret my choice to try here. A shame because a can’t fault the lovely cabin we stayed in one bit.
