Dreadful Sunday toast with abysmal service

点评：We were pushed into bar instead of dining room and were told that was what we requested which was not the case Sunday roast of pork had no apple sauce, they actually did not have any - who eats pork without apple sauce?requested mustard but none forthcoming, roast beef inedible so tough couldn’t eat it, had to request utensils and also napkins as table was not set, roast potatoes and veg tough and unappetising one small slice of carrot with some cubes of really hard Swede , requested non alcoholic wine and was informed they did not stock that ??? Have never been in any bar where it wasn’t available, meal cold before we even began it, Offered to heat it up but would you pay for a meal which was warmed up?but that wouldn’t have solved the problem Yorkshire puddings so cold and tough they would not cut, Sunday roasts not on menu - not surprised as I wouldn’t advertise such a poor meal. Complained and received discount but totally ruined a 90 th birthday meal. Have had many good meals Im the proper dining room there but couldn’t believe how bad this one was. We only suffered one course and left without a sweet or coffee.
