点评：This was even better than I expected. The landscapes and views are different each day. Most of the time, the only sound was birds and bees - like walking in a different century. Each village is different, too.
Walking solo, I was worried about dangerous dogs but I had no problems even though I passed through a herd of sheep accompanied by a dog outside Dimitsana. He barked a little, but I could tell it was just for show. He was old and wanted an easy life. Like me.
One tip: fill a bottle whenever you see a spring. The water from springs is great but you never know if a spring will have water. I had to walk extra distance on the Eláti section to find water.
Another tip: when you see other walkers, ask how they're getting to Stemnitsa or from Langadia. It's cheaper to share a taxi. I paid €57 from Tripoli to Stemnitsa because KTEL Arkadias told me there was no bus on a Monday (though a bus arrived there just after I did with two walkers I'd seen in Tripoli!!?) . From Langadia to Tripoli was €80 by taxi. You could spend more on taxis than on the flights to Greece.
One of the best multi-day hikes I've ever done, but there are some very steep ascents and descents. You might consider walking poles if you have old knees. Or a rest day.
