点评：We, two couples, chartered JoJo for a 10 day sailing trip. It was beyond expectations on so many levels! First, JoJo is a very comfortable boat. We are experienced sailors, having owned boats and done extensive sailing, and we found this boat to be very well equipped, very well laid out and very well maintained. The cabins were comfortable with enough room to spread out a little. Since there were only the 4 of us plus Kathrin and George, we were able to store excess luggage in the mid-cabin berths so gear was easily accessible but out of the way. The boat is set up so that everyone has privacy inside if wanted.
George and Kathrin are exceptional sailors. We were in awe of their ability to back JoJo into the slip, even in windy conditions. That is extremely difficult to do, yet they made it look easy. They are intimately acquainted with the islands and know so many out of the way coves. We always felt we were in capable hands and completely safe.
We had windier than ideal conditions but they were able to find a good mix of idyllic coves to anchor in and marinas with exceptional restaurants and shopping. One cove we shared with a group of goats roaming the hills. We were the only ones anchored in the cove and it was picture post card beautiful with turquoise and sapphire blue water. Each marina had great restaurants and most had wonderful shops. We could spend as much, or little, time in any place as we wanted. If the weather prevented us from implementing Plan A, Kathrin and George had Plan B, and often Plan C.
George and Kathrin have extensive knowledge of the islands and will recommend places to stop and which restaurants are good. A highlight was a snorkeling stop for an underwater ancient city, much like Pompeii except it was flooded not buried by ash. Fascinating! You are, of course, able to choose your destinations and they will happily accommodate your preferences. Snorkeling equipment is provided along with a SUP and fishing gear.
The food on JoJo is exceptional. Kathrin, and George, are great cooks! Lunches were a gastronomical treat, with a variety of food at every lunch, all cooked to perfection. We were introduced to many new, delicious foods and everything was fresh and presented as if you were dining at a 5 star restaurant. The baked halloumi cheese was divine!
Kathrin and George are phenomenal hosts! Your every wish was catered to, the boat was kept unobtrusively neat and tidy and the conversation was stimulating. But, there is enough space on deck that you can have solitude if you want. We all highly recommend Alegria Yachting for your perfect Greek sailing trip! You will not be disappointed!
