Relax off the beaten path, beautiful beach and sunsets

点评：I go here every year. It's an inexpensive, cool, funky, beautiful place to relax. Sort of opposite of Diamante. This is a place to come relax and have a beatnik kind of day. The beach bars have taken a hit from the hurricanes this year but that's nothing new for the residents. Here you can walk along a beautiful beach with sunsets to match. Most days you can get horse to ride. You'll need to be a super strong swimmer to brave to tides here on most days, beware. Don't let kids by the water alone. One moment you can be just along the water line and the next your in 2 feet of fast moving water. There are whales (in the winter) and dolphins around that you can occasionally see from the beach and even in the waves. Walking vendors will gently come to ask if you'd like some cheap handmade jewelry or woven goods. The waterskiing in the lagoon is decent. The launch rides around the lagoon are fun but not terribly exciting. The little hotels offer humble accommodations for the most part. Some restaurants like Tres Marias or Vaymar are good. You can get a decent taco almost anywhere. There is an ok pizza place Jueros. You can ride down the extremely long beach past the airbase to the Barra de Coyuca for some good food stands and drinks. I've always had a nice stay, the people are generally very friendly and I have never had any trouble there.
