点评：We were booked to play 18 holes 'twilight' golf today starting at 14.24. We turned up at 14.00 to be greeted by a scene that can only be described as organised chaos. There were about 20+ golfers milling around the first tee area and no-one teeing off. It soon became clear that there were no buggies available! We were told that things were running about 25 mins late, which is ridiculous. Those who had booked a buggy (probably 75%) were told to tee off (using a trolley) and staff would hopefully supply a buggy by the third hole! It was also pretty obvious from the two groups we subsequently watch tee off that it was going to be 5 hour plus round (we could also see quite a group already queueing on the second tee), so we decided to call it quits. Thankfully, the club agreed to a full refund in the circumstances. I would agree with numerous other comments that a tee time spacing of 8 minutes (all 4 balls) is "asking for trouble" given the general ability of golfers playing this course. It goes without saying that no proof of handicap was requested. A great shame because the course itself is very good.
