Relaxation ruined!!But Les Ormes don’t care, so disappointed

点评：We stayed at no 2 Villas de la Mer, one of their coastal cottages near La Pulente. Apartment was smart but not too spacious in the living room/kitchen. Bedrooms were better but there was not one full length mirror in the property. Crockery was limited, only 3 of each plate type so a struggle to have others to visit. Needed some TLC, outdoor light didn’t work, cheap garden screening with fake leaves was meant to provide privacy from the pathway right next to the hottub but it was hanging off the fence along with the attached fairy lights not working. Looks like they hadn’t worked for a while actually, very dirty and dusty control boxes.
The terrace was basic, no lights or cushions to provide more than a basic facility. The road was busy and a bus stop was directly opposite. On our 3 rd day, the scaffolders arrived at the neighbouring property so we were now overlooked by noisy workmen. The scaffolding meant we had to park further forward to open our boot. This is a privately owned property and building work was beyond Les Ormes’ control, on complaining to the General Manager Matt Przewozny, he offered no appeasement of any form. Our peace was ruined, our dogs upset and we couldn’t really use the property in the daytime, not our expectation of this trip or hospitality provider. They just didn’t care!
