picked up some brochures, but did not feel welcomed at all
Tybee Island Visitor Center的点评
点评:We stopped in the morning after we arrived on island, to get oriented to Tybee. The man working gave us a map and circled a few highlights, without asking us what we were interested in or any other questions. He seemed to be on autopilot. He did not provide the experience I expected in a visitors center, and we didn't leave with a positive impression. We asked him a question about the big mossy tree out front (which we came to learn later is very common in the south) and he said he didn’t know anything about it. Seems to me if these trees are a hallmark of the area, the visitor center staff would be able to talk about them. We did get some helpful brochures, but we were expecting a much more welcoming experience.
