Villa Maria Estate Marlborough Winery的点评
点评：This was the poorest wine tasting I've been too. Certainly there are better options.
We thought we'd stop for a glass of wine and nibbles en route from Nelson to Kaikoura.
Having done this a couple of times already in Waiheke and Hawkes Bay, and many around the world.
How wrong we were, there's no option for nibbles and no real option to choose a glass of wine or taste what you'd prefer. The options were 2 wine tasting lists of either 4 or 6 types of wine. No option to pick or choose from these.
No option to rinse the glass or have a new glass after tasting each wine. He'd have happily just poured the next in the used glass from the previous wine. When I questioned this I was pointed to a small jug of water on the desk. At one point he said"I'm not going to use 6 different glasses".
The guy hosting I found was abrasive and had the personality of a poor car salesman, and I felt his knowledge was questionable.
I certainly wouldn't recommend a stop at this vineyard.
