Cataract Falls的点评
点评：A trip to Cataract Falls is well worth it.
I visited on a dry day following rainfall the previous two days. This meant that there was a good amount of water present in the cascades and falls.
I parked close by to Alpine Lake. The pathway is well signed and there are also bathroom facilities and a large information boards detailing the various hiking routes.
The pathway is easy to follow but steep and quite challenging in parts. There are plenty of opportunities to stop and take in your wonderful surroundings along the way.
I did the hike up to the picnic area. I think it’s about a mile and a half and including stops for photographs probably took me around an hour. It is all uphill. It’s a much quicker route on the way back.
I also had a dog with me. Dogs must be kept on their leads for the entire hike.
This is a beautiful place and is a super spot for picnics and just appreciating nature and the great outdoors.
