Perfect apart from surly bus driver.

点评：This is a beautiful place in which to reconnect with more important things apart from mundane life. Skanda Vale is in an isolated location.
Many reviews here and on Google remind us that it is not a tourist destination but there are no checks on admission as to whether one identifies as a pilgrim or a tourist... sometimes there may be overlap and who is to judge?
Inside the site operates an electric bus to carry passengers up a hill. I chose to walk alone up the hill when the empty bus stopped, opened its door and the driver yelled at me
" Can you walk up the path!?"
I replied "ok"
She then said " That is why we have made footpaths, so that people can walk on them!"
She then drove off.
The various temples and gardens are beautifully constructed and maintained.
Whilst my friends and I were there we were offered a meal by the community. It was delicious and generous. We did not expect it and made a donation afterwards as no payment would be accepted.
It is a lovely place.
