One of the best Distillery visits.

点评：My wife and I are veteran Distillery visitors, over many years admittedly, we have toured 70 distilleries. Today was truly outstanding. Joe was an excellent guide, happy to chat about the world of whisky and was very knowledgeable. His obvious love for the place, the history and the product really shone through. We just had the basic £25 tour. Well worthwhile.
A couple of days before we visited Lindores Abbey, I began to wonder there if I had visited too many, the tour was predictable and we came away pleased that we’d had complimentary tickets and not had to pay - the guide there was great as was the place, but just too scripted and sterile.
Today Joe made me realise that my thirst for Distillery visits, and the chance to learn more about Whisky is, as yet, unquenched.
The Distillery has been renovated remarkably, wood, stone and wrought iron bringing real artistry to the buildings, beautiful to behold in every detail. A wonderful site making excellent Whisky.
And the cafe lunch was also excellent! But I recommend you book a table.
