Umred __ a good alternative to tadoba ( esp if tadoba safaris are all sold out )
Umred Karhandla Wildlife Sanctuary的点评
点评：We went in April 2023 with our family comprising of seniors adults and pre teens
Umred was not on our list but tadoba safaris were all sold out so settled for umred thanks to our safari organiser footloose nomads ( you'll can check them out on insta)
Pros
.umred is an hour away from nagpur ( we flew into nagpur airport ) making it extremely easy for us as it cuts down on travel time esp since we had just 2 days with us
The roads are very good and we reached umred after a good breakfast
There are a few resorts in umred all are 3 star hotel with basic amenities and food ( we were taking morning evening safaris
and hence did not have much time on our hands to stay and relax at the hotel)
Keeping this in mind our hotel was good
We stayed at the royan karandhala resort
Ot was very well maintained .
rooms were big and spacious
They had lawns and gardens which we did not utilise since we were exhausted after the safari and we had gone on April
So we were quite happy indoors
We had 4 safaris planned over a period of 2 days
3 in kandhala and 1 in gaonthan
Umred national park started in 2012 so it's yet not as commercialized as some other tiger parks
The park as such is much smaller than tadoba
We had some really good sightings
If the tiger, leopard , pack of wild dogs and the other animals
Neel gai spotted deer wild pigs peacocks etc
This was a trip which def was a surprise packet because travel was very easy ( as compared to tadoba )
The hotels were decent
( Only cons about these hotels is that wifi may not be available and networks are poor )
We quite enjoyed the park ( it's quite small so you end up circling the same area ) esp since we got good sightings

3 个在坎达拉，1 个在甘丹
乌姆雷德国家公园始于 2012 年，因此它还没有像其他一些老虎公园那样商业化
这样的公园比塔多巴小得多
我们有一些非常好的目击
如虎、豹、野狗等动物
Neel gai 梅花鹿野猪孔雀等
这是一次旅行，绝对是一个惊喜包，因为旅行非常容易（与 tadoba 相比）
酒店不错
（这些酒店唯一的缺点是wifi可能不可用，网络很差）
