点评：This is a gorgeous location for camping and is dog friendly (with reasonable restrictions). My pup and I spent the afternoon at one of the daytime picnic areas and enjoyed the peace so much (post-tourist season) that I booked a campsite for the night. There are beautiful water views and what I liked best is that dogs must be on leash. This is important because my rescued pup is skittish. He doesn’t like dogs charging him or me and is ready to defend if necessary. Unfortunately, there are residents in and around the park who don’t have voice control of their dogs and one young pup jumped their fence and ran at us. It’s difficult to keep your leashed dog away from an unleashed dog. Luckily, no one was hurt (except my bruised hand). I still stayed the night as the dog owner was very apologetic. I’d like to go back, but being on guard for unleashed dogs takes the relaxation away. If I go back, I’ll write another review.
