点评：I read at least a hundred boat reviews before choosing this one, so now I want to help you make your choice…
In the past I’ve only gone with Bluewater express (they’re great, although expensive), but nowadays they don’t include the transfer to/from your hotel in Bali, which sucks. I’ve also tried Eka Jaya in the past but didn’t like it. This was my first trip with Gili Getaway, but not my last.
Gili Getaway includes the hotel transfer in Bali (depending on where you’re staying), and the transfer was organized extremely well! I got to my destination in no time, with one more traveler in the car with me. We left from the Gili Getaway hub within maybe 10 minutes after the boat arrived in Serangan…?
The boat itself isn’t huge (it was perfectly fine on the day I travelled, but if there had been huge waves I can understand people who struggle - but it was great on my day), and although they don’t have AC, they do have fans, so I didn’t suffer at all. The wait at the harbor was a lot worse heat wise than the boat ride itself. The boat departed on time and arrived perfectly on time, my suitcase was well taken care of before/during/after the passage. There was no annoying begging for tips (that I experienced with Eka Jaya).
All in all, I will probably choose them next time again; including the transfer to/from the hotel should be standard in my opinion, and the boat was definitely good enough for the passage itself.
