RSPB The Lodge Nature Reserve的点评
点评：We have moved from London to Bedfordshire, and we cannot believe our luck to have such a magical place in our doorstep. Whatever the weather it is always a special day out. We have feeders in our garden so we usually make a day out of it to buy food from the shop, and now with the added cafe it is an absolutely bonus to be able to get a bottle water or a hot drink, and their delicious food after a long walk. I cannot recommend the cafe enough— delicious quiches, vegan or not sausage rolls, soups served with bread roll and butter, delicious toasted sandwiches— everything of high standard and fuss- free. This kind of food would be very pricey in London and here is served like a local, friendly cafe. The staff are hard-working and they are always welcoming and friendly even when there’s a big queue. Bathrooms are clean and none of the facilities interfere with the beauty and magic of the place. We have even recently ‘purchased’ a bench for a beloved family member who has passed away, and we visit it on special occasions. Even though we have done all the walks, every time we do them it feels special and it obviously changes with every season— whether is quiet and dormant in winter or bustling with birds and bunnies and even wild ponies, this place is a gem and should be cherished and appreciated.
