Pelorus Sound Water Taxi & Cruises的点评
点评：My son and I completed the Nydia Track walk yesterday. The hike was everything we hoped it would be, but I want to acknowledge the “above and beyond” service provided by Deano of Pelorus Sound Water Taxi.
We had arranged for PSWT to shuttle us to the start of the walk at Duncan Bay. Four kilometres from the walk out and shuttle departure point at Kaiuma Bay, the tyre picked up a speartip shaped stone and started going down. Sealant help plug the leak and we limped in the rest of the way.
With no spare tyre (apparently that’s how Renaults roll), we were stuck a long way from the nearest tyre service centre at the start of a weekend. And that’s when Deano became our hero. “Back the car into my garage and I’ll sort it out with a plug” was what we heard. Out came the jack, compressor, plug kit - Deano even provided the muscle! We then set off on our transfer to the start of the walk with Deano providing interesting background and funny stories along the way.
When we returned the following day the tyre was still up and the plug allowed us to drive to Nelson where we’ll have a new tyre fitted tomorrow.
If I could give Deano and PSWT a 6 star rating, I would. The service we received was “over and above”.
