Falconry Experience was absolutely perfect

点评：I took my wife here for the Falconry experience. My wife is in a wheelchair, and was a bit concerned before going, due to the nature of Robinhill park, she was aware of the hills and rough terrain. However the staff at the Falconry Experience were faultless. We were met and taken down to the centre, where we were introduced to a young girl, (I believe her name is Molly), who told my wife all about the work they do, and about the birds they have at the centre. She knew a lot about her work, and clearly had taken time to get to know all the birds there. Every question we asked she was able to answer. After this, they took us to the ground where they flew the birds, and made sure my wife was comfortable either in or out of her wheelchair. This is where the fun really began. Molly, (sorry if the name is wrong!), went a got a beautiful Spectacled Owl I believe, called Star. Star proceeded to believe the best place to land was my head! After this, Molly showed us how they train these young birds, and allowed my wife to put on the glove, and guided Star to land there. Two more birds were brought out by Sam, one was a Harrier Hawk, and another if memory serves me was a Russian Eagle Owl. Both extremely awesome creatures. Again Sam was brilliant with my wife, ensuring her comfort as well as the birds.
We met the owner Charlotte, and her husband, (sorry I cant remember his name). All in all this was an experience I can highly recommend. The staff here know their stuff, are cheerful, friendly and clearly love what they do. A must do for anyone in the area!!
