We got Shafted in the Mine

点评：First of all the Mine looks nothing like the picture represented here. The tour is supposed to last 45 minutes, it lasted 20. We love touring coal mines, silver mines, gold mines and have all over the country. This was a total waste of money. You only walk back this shaft to a small room that ends and you are given a small overview of what occured in the mine. There was almost nothing to see. We were packed in like sardines and you couldn't here the guide at all. I couldn't even see the guide. There should be a limit of 10 people MAX in any given tour. I counted 22 in ours. We told the guy (who collected our cash, they don't take credit cards) as we came out that it was a horrible tour and not worth close to the $25 per person and he knew it when I said it. I told him that we in the back couldn't here anything and that was a terrible value and for sure a total waste of my vacation time that I can't get back. His only response "well you can take another tour". If you are more than 6 feet tall you do not want to take this tour unless you want to stay hunched over for 20 (not 45) minutes. And they didn't have enough hard hats for everyone, you will for sure need one! Save your money people, take the train ride instead!
