Stanthorpe Visitor Information Centre的点评
点评：Such lovely people, clearly very embedded and committed to this lovely town and the area. Very switched on approach. Came to me asking my interests and then took it from there. I came away with a range of suggestions.
I would've loved to have done more, but with many places not staffed in the early part of the week, things like the local museum weren't available due to volunteer staffing needs I expect. So volunteer if you can!
There's a good heritage walk pamphlet that shows you all the interesting buildings. The gorgeous 1901 Post Office being a standout in the arts and crafts style. Lovely.
Look, I wish I'd had more time, I should've stayed longer, the drive to Toowoomba is not as far as I thought but we did set out late from Tenterfield.
Stanthorpe from Tenterfield is an hour at most and then off to Toowoomba which is another two hours, time could have been spent.
Historical town. Give it the time it deserves. A late arrival in Toowoomba isn't of much value to you anyway. Warwick, it's near neighbour looked wealthy and well provided for. Also worth a look and it too has an info centre.
