点评:We were in Gros Morne for 8 days and stayed in Rocky Harbour. We found the hiking and landscapes stunning and would highly recommend visiting for at least 4 days in Grose Morne and if you are a "slow traveler" like us, (and contrary to some other reviews, you certainly could spend a couple of weeks) . Highlights included the different National Park hikes and exploring the area for the first time. Be aware that about half of the restaurants and shops start shutting down in October. This was our first trip to Newfoundland. We came by Port Aux Basques and drove clockwise: 8 days in Gros Morne, 4 days in Bonavista and 10 days in St. Johns - mostly airbnbing it. We weren't sure what to expect in terms of how long we should have stayed in each area, but would not have done it differently, if we had to do it again. Gas is about 20 cents/litre more expensive, food about 20 percent more expensive and booze is about 50 percent more when we compare it to Ontario. Aside from the slight financial differences (remember that it is an island and costs typically increase because of this). Otherwise, we liked it so much that we definitely plan to come back in a couple of years!
