Learning Spanish is fun at Escuela Mexicana!

点评：We took two weeks of Spanish lessons and learned a lot at Escuela Mexicana. We were allowed to create our own schedule and take the combination of grammar, conversation and culture classes to meet our needs. Their teaching methods include written and oral activities and include different learning styles. The classes are small and personal. They have their own written materials that are very helpful in reinforcing the concepts you are learning. Conveniently in Centro, it was a short walk from our apartment. We also took part in the evening classes and learned about traditional Mexican music, how to make chicken mole and salsa dance.
We have attended other Spanish immersion schools and found Escuela Mexicana had the right balance for us. We will return the next time we visit Guanajuato and may stay with a host family to complete the immersion experience and improve our language skills.
