Granite boulder field and outcrop with skywalk attraction at Porongurup

点评：This is a large boulder field and outcrop in the middle of the Porongurup National Park that is accessible by way of a 2 km trail from the Castle Rock Picnic and carpark to the north. The trail is a fairly steady ascend through mature forest filled with Karri, Marri and Jarrah trees.
Upon clearing the forest, you find Castle Rock where you can enjoy seeing the Balancing Rock and the famous Granite Skywalk attraction, two lookouts built into the outcrops. One requires a climb up a ladder onto an elevated platform, both provide sweeping panoramic views of the area.
On the day we visited, we were engulfed in clouds with windy conditions. While we couldn't see much beyond Castle Rock, we very much enjoyed seeing these giant boulders up close and experiencing the lookout points. Very much look forward to visiting again in the future when viewing conditions are more favourable.
