Secret Surf School Tenerife的点评
点评：A bit disappointing really. The instructor spent the entire lesson on the beach rather than in the water, he didn’t even bother putting on a wetsuit for my fiancée’s lesson. There are a couple of other schools that operate from the same beach, and all of the other instructors are at least in the water alongside the surfers taking lessons. One of the other instructors even surfs alongside and gives tips - really impressive.
We saw the ‘Secret Surf School’ instructor at the beach several times after our lessons, and even for others he stays on the beach and barely gives pointers. He teaches you the very basics of the pop-up (on land) for 20 minutes and then basically tells you to go have fun for an hour. Very disappointing considering he charges the same as the other schools, which give much more in depth lessons and tips. Someone else at the beach actually jokingly mentioned that nobody had actually ever seen him surf… Would recommend finding a different school in the area.
If you’re around the Las Americas area, K16 surf school are highly recommended. All really nice guys, passionate about surfing and give in depth lessons, for exactly the same price (€35). ‘Secret Surf School’ felt more like simply renting a board and a wetsuit.
