点评：Played this place on 15th September in their Vardon Trophy Comp. Paid £35 for this 36 hole comp. Arrived at 9am with a tee time at 10:10am. Travelled 45mins to get there. Awful day, incessant rain. We could see lakes forming on the Greens from the Pro Shop and players were withdrawing before hitting a shot. But incredibly instead of abandoning it they continued to say the course was open and playable. This decision was massively flawed. I went out in a 2 ball at 10:10. Greens were flooded, the flag cups were full to the brim with water. Played 13 holes before walking in with several others. They reduced the comp to 18 holes which said everything about the day. I asked for a refund but they refused. They kept the money from those who didn't play as well as those who partly played. They gave an overall prize for the 18 holes instead of the prizes they would've had to give out for gross/nett (top 3) in the morning and gross/nett (top 3) in the afternoon. They have acted in an opportunistic & dishonest way with the intent of making a gain for themselves and their club while inflicting a loss on the players who patronised their comp - This is Fraud.
Go anywhere else to play your Golf but keep away from this place. Alistair Mckenzie/Harry Colt design, Harry Vardon once a Pro here, revered names in the pantheon of Golfing history associated with this Gaff - they would be turning in their graves.
