点评:Wednesday 17th April and we walked along this pedestrianised street in the centre of Torremolinos.
It is situated between two streets, with Avenida Palma de Mallorca at one end and Calle Hayo at the other.
The street is partially covered by a twisting convex and concave pergola structure, as well as providing some shade it is also a feature along the street.
It is lined with a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. There is also a shopping centre, Centro Entraplaza, which is home to a Mecadona supermarket.
Along the street there are a number of large bronze sculptures including The Family, The Trades (Los Oficios), José Losada Santiago, Dancing Man and many others. Some of the sculptures have plaques with information on them, so there is some idea of the concept or who they depict. Others are so unusual, with no information, they leave visitors scratching their heads in wonder and then walking by.
There is also a small fountain with a girl dancing in the water, the fountain was not working at the time of our visit.
Even if shopping is not your thing, this street is definitely worth a walk down, the sculptures alone make it very interesting.
