Lloret Beach的点评
点评：Lloret de Mar, in my opinion, is not suitable for families with young children. The beach, although very clean, is very dangerous to even walk along the shoreline, the waves are quite strong & could easily pull in a child/person without warning. The playground beside the beach, I felt was also unsafe, there are 2 gates (one leading to a car park/road) & it is difficult to see your child at all times while they are playing & it leaves you feeling uneasy. The traffic travel at high speed with no care for pedestrians. The streets leading to the hotels behind the main strip are extremely narrow leading you to suspect that they are for pedestrians only but this is not the case. You need to be extremely vigilant at all times for this or you will be knocked down in a heartbeat. A lot of construction work being carried out in the area, again, I would advise to stay well clear of scaffolding. Building works do not appear to be carried out to the same standard as they would be in Ireland.
On the plus side, beautiful scenery. Lots of restaurants, supermarkets & chemist's in the area.
I would not recommend this town for families with children though.
