Pevero Golf Club的点评
点评：While on vacation in Sardinia, we thought it would be nice to play some golf, and coming from the northern Europe, we hoped the Mediterranean climate would provide a great course.Based on ratings we chose Pevero Golf - which by the way was a bit tricky to find as it's integrated in an residential area, with only a handful parking spots outside the entrance.Registration was OK, but not welcoming in any way - next we went to the caddie master to pick up our rental clubs. Not much service here either, more like "here's your clubs, pls leave", don't even replied to our question about extra wedges - a bit unexpected since the club seems to aspire to be a nicer option. So we entered the cart and drove off...
What about the course then ? - I thought it was in quite poor condition, really slow and spongy greens, and most of them where really uneven giving bouncing strokes. Cart paths more like dirt roads in the forest. Fairways mostly good, but plenty of areas under construction. Also think some more signs, or clear ones would be beneficial. No service at 9th/10th hole, only water tap. Course it quite narrow at times, with thick vegetation/bushes close by - so bring some extra balls in case you play "wide", since finding them is a challenge :P Bunker sand, more like concrete. Over all I would say this is a mediocre course, location is lovely and views are sometimes breathtaking. Guess the high greenfee is also related to the location near the Costa Smeralda - because the golf experience is not worth it.
