点评:This was our second time to Tai O.
We were here back in 2019 & simply had to come back for the curried fish balls & the Condiments from the local stores.
There is a little stall where you first come into the village from the bus parking area that sells curried fish balls. (See pics) Don’t go past without getting some, they are the best we’ve tasted & it was so good to come back & try them again years later.
The other highlight for us was restocking up on some of the delicious sauces the sell there especially:
* “Salted, Szechuan, crispy fish sauce”
* “Spicey XO sauce”
* “Salted, crispy shrimp sauce”
If you catch the “Ngong Ping 360 cable car ride” up to the Big Buddha & take a look around there, you can then catch a bus or taxi down to Tai O to wander the village, try the foods, have lunch & a drink etc then that’s pretty much a full day by the time you catch a bus/ferry/taxi back.
* “四川咸酥鱼露”
* “香辣XO酱”
* “咸酥虾酱”
