Second time not so lucky .

点评：Second time visiting with two nature /sea life loving kids and I’m saddened to say we were a bit disappointed . We visited last year and had the most incredible interactive on tour, hence our second visit . Second time around we weren’t so lucky - the staff were super friendly and polite but the structure of the tour or lack really contrasted to our last visit .
I’d loosely call it a guided tour , more here’s some tanks & specimens ask if you have any questions . Children were looking forward to being really shown the dry specimens , being able to touch the star fish and hermit crabs like last time as well as learning interesting facts about the creatures in each tank but unfortunately this never really got going . I had to ask to be shown the anemones which glow under uv light, which was an highlight of our last trip , and if you didn’t know you wouldn’t have been shown it . Inevitability kids lost interest very quickly as weren’t kept engaged , which was a shame as there was some great sea creatures in the tanks .

Cafe as always is busy but very tasty food and drink , at reasonable price.
